Happy Flag Day!!!!!!!!!!!!

Published by under Uncategorized

Happy Flag Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Yes, yes people you’re wondering, what the heck is Flag Day? Well wonder no more because I’m going to tell you about it. (Aren’t I Wonderful?)  Flag Day is a day where you celebrate flags; it’s all in the name.  Flag Day was first celebrated in 1877 according to holidayspot.com. But it didn’t go public until 1885. People believe a man named B.J Cigrand (a teacher) set the date for Flag Day. He told his students to observe June 14th as flag birthday (if your birthday is June 14th then you and flags have the same birthday, I admire you). Now you know a little bit about Flag Day!

Here are 4 flags I like :  Flag number 1:

Flag number 1: The American Flag  (I put this flag up     because I was born in America.)

Flag number 2: North Carolina Flag  (I put this flag up because North Carolina is my home state)

Flag number 3: The Christian flag    (I put this flag up because I’m a Christian)

Flag number 4: your choice:  give a me comment with a picture of your favorite flag and then I’ll pick my favorite out of those and put it up as my 4th flag next week

SEE FLAG PICTURES HERE 2

P.s . Happy summer!

It’s the end of the year and I’m leaving Peeler, (the school I go to).  So you might not be seeing me for a while. But don’t worry I will try to write every week. Maybe every Monday I write a post.  Please, please, keep on reading my blog.Thank you so much for taking the time to read my page. But even though you read my blog I really should be thanking Mrs. B (my teacher) for making me keep a blog and helping me to see that i’m pretty good at writing and that writing its fun.  So goodbye (for now)

A 22- Free Write!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Published by under Uncategorized

I’m one of those people who have crazy vivid dreams almost every night. Here are a few.  Just 2 nights ago I had a dream that my class was going on a field trip to a ballpark I didn’t know that we had to pay and no one would pay for me not even my best friend! But then my mom came and I was saved. Then years or days later I don’t really know they tore down the ballpark then someone asked “what happened to the ballpark” some how I got old and I was all they tore it down then I started seeing stuff in Ariel veiws it looked like they were making a maze then I was young again and my mom took me there it looked like a store. Then it was this girl who could’nt breath then I pulled this twig out of a cup and she stared breathing again. THE END   Now my next dream. One night I had a dream about faires I was a fairy, my twin was a fairy, and my best friend was a fairy.Taylor (my twin) got captured by this evil guy and we used our fairy powers to get the bad guy in the end we got  Taylor. It was a great dream Bye.

A 21-Happy mother’s day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Published by under Uncategorized

Mom, this post is not even a fourth of what you done for me. You’ve done so much for me so I just wanted to do this 1 thing for you.  I would like to start of by saying thank you. Thank you for caring for me when I was sick. Thank you for caring for me when I was well. Thank you for letting me wake you up in the middle of the night and listening when I tell you a bad dream I had. Thank you for helping me physically and mentally. You take me everywhere and you listen to me talk for hours. Saying you’re the best mom in the world is an understatement so I’m going to finish by saying Happy mother’s day. I love you mom. Bye.

Courage!!!!!!!!!!!

Published by under Uncategorized

Courage, that one little word was such a big part of camp. Its amazing how 7 letters can explain one of the best trips in my life. It took courage to get on the bus, heck anything can happen. (I mean it is a car!) It took courage to answer questions. When you’re just meeting someone you want them to like you, right? So most people want to impress  them and that way could be by answering a question. And when you answer a question you never know if you’re right. It took courage to try archery. I could have said no because I was scared I was going to be bad at it (I was pretty good at it actually).  Or I was going to get hit by an arrow (which I wasn’t)! See courage is one of the best attributes you can have so BE COURAGEOUS!!!!!!!

A 19– Dear President Obama my name is………..

Published by under Uncategorized

Dear President Obama,

My name is Sierra Taylor. I’m 11 years old and with deep respect I have to disagree with you on that law that is still under consideration. I ‘m sure there are many laws that are still under consideration so I’ll be specific. I talking about the law that says teacher’s salary amounts should be based on kid’s test scores. A few reasons why I think so are:  well, for 1 kids already have enough stress. According to TFK more than 250 million “fill in the bubble” test are taken across America each year. So if you put someone’s job in an 8 -14 year olds hands I think that’s crazy!!!!!!!!!  Who’s to say this won’t increase cheating and suicidal rates?! Is this what you want?

                                                            Your fellow citizen

A–19Elephants have rights too!!!!!!!!!!

Published by under Uncategorized

I’m just so angry I’m practically punching down the keys!!!!!!!!  People are killing poor elephants for their tusk!!!!! They have to kill the elephants to cut off the tusk!!!!! They’re killing more than 100 elephants a day!!!!! The elephant population use to be at 1 million!!!!!!! Now the population is only at 500,000!! It’s a shame.  Think what if you were about to get killed for something that is rightfully yours. Well that’s what’s happening to the elephants!!!!!!! Yes I do know that 1 pound is worth $ 1,000 and yes I do know that 200,000 pounds is worth $20,000,000! But have some sympathy there poor, helpless creatures, well technically they aren’t helpless cause they could stomp you to death but you get the point.

But some nice people who care about elephants talked to some important people. So now it’s illegal to kill elephants. But I’m still mad at poachers (poachers: people who kill animals illegally) So if you see a poacher you know what to do ;)

A–18 10 steps to becoming a good person

Published by under Uncategorized

Hey all you troublemakers I got 10 ways for to stay out of trouble!!!!!!!!!! (If you’re willing to change)

1. Stay away from fights!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean seriously does it really matter whether or not someone thinks your stupid or ugly or you have a big nose?! As long as you think it’s alright then go on and have a big nose or be stupid. I know that you’ve all heard this in anger management but give a try, if it doesn’t work than avoid the person. (But don’t be rude about it.)

2. Think before you act or speak. How do you think President Obama became president? He thought before he spoke. If you just blurt out the first think you think and hurtful words come out than you could be killing that person. No not literally but with your tongue, your tongue is powerful. (once again anger management)

3. Run away from trouble!!!!!!!!!!! You know when you watch those shows or movies where the main character is about to do something bad a demon and an angel pops on their shoulders? Would you pick the angel or the demon? I bet 6 out 10 of you would pick the demon. Stop following the “demon”!!!!!!!!

4. Assess your friends. If you have friends that get angry 9 out of 10 times your more than likely to get into trouble get into fights or get pressured to do something that you necessarily don ‘t want to do. And that thing could be anything from pulling an innocent prank to changing their grades from A’s to F’s. You’re probably thinking that’s not a big deal. But what I’m trying to get you to understand is that, that one little thing can change someone’s whole life. What if they are trying to go to Harvard to become a doctor but since you changed their grade to F’s the College won’t accept them and then they become a hobo on the street.

5. Put your self in their shoes. If you’re the type of troublemaker who bullies people. Before you decide to bully someone think how it would feel to get bullied everyday. I know what if that person is mean to you first! Well kill them with kindness!

6. Think about your future. What if all the teachers know that you’re the class bully/troublemaker and you’re really smart and you could be in the advanced class but since your behavior is not acceptable you just stay in the regular class.

7. Stop Gossiping!!!! If you don’t like this or these people then why are thinking about them all the time?! If you’re saying: no I don’t think about all the time! Well you talk about them don’t you? You have to think to talk!

8. Practice on becoming a hard worker. If you’re mad and rampaging around and yelling at everyone because you don’t have good grades or you think the teacher doesn’t like you or something in that category. Then instead of yelling at everyone and telling everyone you meet that this teacher doesn’t like you. Do something about it!!!!!!!!!! If that teacher supposedly doesn’t like you then don’t try to kiss up to them just try harder at your work!!!!!!!! Then study!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

9. Don’t change yourself!!!!!!!!! If you want to get nicer change your attitude that’s fine, but don’t change your style (unless your dressing in appropriately) What I’m trying to say is don’t change something about you unless it’s something bad about yourself.

10. Be Nice!!!!!!!!!!!!
